We’re proud to celebrate the incredible work of one of our Region III clubs, the Asociación Nacional Automovilística ANA A.C., as they continue to make a meaningful difference in road safety across Mexico.

In partnership with the Keep Fighting Foundation (founded by the Schumacher family) and the FIA Safe and Sustainable Mobility Grants Programme, ANA is leading an initiative to promote safer riding practices and reduce head injuries among vulnerable road users. Through this program, certified motorcycle helmets are being distributed free of charge to local riders who depend on motorcycles for work and daily transportation.

The latest helmet distribution event took place at the Quiosco de la Población in Juan C. Bonilla, where ANA’s Saúl G. Alcántara L. was joined by local leaders including José Cinto Bernal, Municipal President of Juan C. Bonilla, and Tiburcio Muñoz, Auxiliary President of Santa María Zacatepec.

This phase of the program will see 2,500 certified helmets handed out to selected recipients.

Alongside the distribution, the event featured educational activities to raise awareness about the importance of wearing certified protective gear and understanding helmet safety standards. This initiative is part of the broader FIA Helmet Wearing Programme, which is expanding across continents to support FIA Member Clubs in improving two-wheeler safety through targeted funding.
