At the FIA American Congress in Paraguay, one of the most anticipated moments was the announcement of the regional champions of the FIA Innovation Challenge 2025.

The Challenge shines a spotlight on bold, creative projects from FIA Mobility Members that drive growth, test new approaches, and transform the services Clubs deliver to their communities. This year, three Clubs from Region III stood out for their high-impact, scalable initiatives — each showing how innovation and collaboration can shape the future of mobility.

Region III Champions

CAA Atlantic – Watt’s Up with EVs

The Infomercial Series Making electric vehicles accessible and relatable, CAA Atlantic produced a multi-part video series broadcast on TV and social media. The result? Over 7.3 million viewers engaged with content designed to accelerate zero-emission adoption and build EV awareness across Canada.

BCAA – Defending Against Wildfires (DAW)

With wildfires increasingly affecting communities in British Columbia, BCAA’s initiative provides protection and preparedness. Through strategic partnerships and advanced technologies, DAW not only raises awareness but also offers practical tools to strengthen community resilience.

JMMC – RoadReach

Your Personal Roadside Guardian This real-time roadside safety and emergency response platform ensures drivers are never alone in critical moments. RoadReach empowers users with on-demand visibility and communication, creating a safer and more connected driving experience.
